Jim joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2010 as CEO, from the long term management group of Dorman & Fawcett, an advisor to the Company since late 2009. Jim began his career in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand’s Boston office and has more than 40 year’s experience as a CFO and COO both at a public company level and three entrepreneurial ventures. All of these businesses achieved exceptional records of success and profitability during his tenure. Jim has a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the United States Olympic rowing team in 1972 & 1976.
THOMAS W. MUNGOVAN, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Tom joined Momentum Manufacturing Group as CFO in 2020. He has over 20 years of financial leadership experience in a variety of early-stage and global technology companies, including Tokyo Electron Ltd., Smith & Nephew plc, Endeca Technologies, Inc., and Synopsys, Inc. Tom is a licensed CPA and began his corporate finance career in the Boston office of Deloitte. He has a BA in Physics from the College of the Holy Cross, an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MS in Accounting/MBA from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Professional Accounting.
Senior Vice President
Steve joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2019 and focuses on running Momentum Manufacturing Group’s southern operations, marketing, and business development. Before joining MMG, Steve spent more than 20 years with Gerber Technology in various executive leadership roles, including President of Gerber’s Industrial business unit, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Senior Vice President & GM of Gerber’s Automation Solutions business unit. He joined Gerber through their acquisition of his business, Boston-based Data Technology, Inc. Before this, he was the National Sales & Marketing Manager of Chicago-based Misomex International. He started his career in the packaging industry, working for Rand Whitney Packaging and Bates Corrugated Box Corporation. He holds undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Marketing as well as a Master of Business Administration degree.
Senior Vice President
Matt joined Momentum Manufacturing Group (formerly NSA Industries, LLC) in 1988, initially in manufacturing. As an experienced operator of CNC lathes and screw machines as well as production manager of the metal fabrication and member of the purchasing organization, he brings essential product knowledge and application expertise to the sales group. Matt served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for more than seven years, and today he is focused on running Momentum Manufacturing Group's northern operations.
President, Vitex Extrusions
Andrew joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2019 after leading the sale of his company, Vitex Extrusions, to Momentum Manufacturing Group. Andrew had been with Vitex since 2002, holding sales and operational leadership roles. In 2007, he purchased the company in partnership with a private equity firm and became CEO/President. Before Vitex, he founded Stamford Metals Corporation in New York after holding sales and marketing leadership roles in the aluminum and steel industry. Andrew holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Mercy College.
